You may recall that early in the year during quarter two, the third edition of the AFF’ Race was carried out. As with its two previous editions, all registered participants competed during three months towards an imaginary finish line with not-at-all-imaginary prizes on the other side. For this edition, the list of prizes was extended further, with a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place prize as well as 10 Lightning Bolt prizes for the quickest 10 affiliates to amass +100 FTD.
The first place winner got not only the title of the AFF’ Race champion, but also the opportunity to come to our home Barcelona for a long weekend VIP trip this past September. We are very happy to share with you a quick recap and some snaps for this fantastic visit from contender Patchattack and his wonderful colleagues.
On the very first day of the AFF’ Race winner’s trip, we had the pleasure to meet face to face and show them around our new office before diving into a follow up meeting to talk about our longstanding partnership.
But not for long, though! This trip was mostly for pleasure, so we quickly headed off to a surprise we had prepared down by the port.
Unless you haven’t had your cup off coffee while reading this, then you might have already guessed what the surprise at hand was: a cruise at sunset around Barcelona’s beautiful coastline!
We were pleased to discover that all odds were in our favor and the weather let us enjoy the mix of pinks and purples the sky usually pampers us with.
The wonderful boat cruise skipper and host made us feel right at home and delighted us with drinks and typical food from the region; from pan amb tomaquet, to a delicious selection of cheese and Iberic ham.
Right before the crisp air after sunset started tightening, we disembarked at port right on time for a lovely dinner by the sea, after which we headed out for a drink in one of the city’s charismatic bars.
All in all the day was filled with very pleasant conversations, laughs and new ideas to continue and strengthen our partnership.
The rest of the weekend was left for them to enjoy the city before heading back home on Sunday.
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank not only Patchattack and his great colleagues, but also all other of the AFF’ Race winners and participants.
We’re looking forward to the next edition of the AFF’ Race, and we hope you all are too!
